“Don’t try to push me” is a 4 songs EP: Lay down has always been fun to play, and its recording has a very good melancholic feel to it, a “Take me out tonight” languor. Inside outside has a middle-eight part that made us realize how beautiful we could get working on harmony and colors. David is one of the first songs we have written and one of the hardest to work out: we wanted a perfect sound for a song that matters a lot to us (it is, in fact, our humble homage to David Foster...

The EP "NICHT-ORT" takes a detailed look at so called non-places. Those places are not just the "empty rooms" but more the places without an identity, without history. It is about static places and dynamic rooms. adamned.age (Hanne Adam), born and grown up in Hamburg in 1977, now living and working in Berlin. The word itself contains what this record means. Meanings of Will: 1.- Will is the conjugation in present of the German verb “Wollen” meaning “Want”. 2.- Using Will as you’re talking about the future, expressing willingness or indicating capability. 3.- Using Will to refer determination or faculty. This record it’s about my musical willingness. Searching through my most deeply paths...curiously, where I’m not alone. This record was possible thanks to the “Willpower” of great...

Introducing Lindsjö and his guitar, it would seem unjust to posit them in one corner or the other, even though his playing without apologies takes cues from past decades of string plucking. Old idioms are picked up, domesticized and wrapped tightly before pulled to a neck twisting uttermost – even venturing into the blues. Just listen closely: ...koeeeeng...kttanngg...koiiii..tkk.... – Reichel? Bailey? ...badibadabibee//bu//ba//bú//bubebo... – Al di Meola?...

Arriving in New York City with male pattern baldness shaved into his head (by his own hand), Andre Vida began terrorizing the Knitting Factory, The Cooler and subway platforms everywhere, with his unique brand of improvised saxophonic punkosity. In between performances with Anthony Braxton, The Tower Recordings, and many others, Vida began to notice that there was often a cab parked on the corner of Hudson and Canal with a coffin sticking out the back. One day, Vida decided to see what was...

For laptop orchestra. A. Jasenka about the work: My first idea was that this was a 'boarding pass' to nowhere. „Boarding Pass“ is an extension of my sonic atmospheres, based on parallel developments of different musical paths, rich of various combinations of sonic cuts, drills, drones and electroacoustic, digital manipulations, sometimes deeply immersive, although often evolving into intensive sound kaleidoscopes. The jet-man mythology appears in „Boarding Pass“, expanding recent sonic...

...Incandescent Charm is a simple and blunt intrepretation of Kagu-Tsuchi, Japanese fire-god. I know many people would probably try and argue Ifrit, but Final Fantasy does not equal actual mythology. A simple prologue and epilogue are given, and from there, the noise wanes and waxes, rises and falls, gathers and melts. One could consider this brazenly relaxing. Others would consider this harshly hypnotising. Most will dismiss it as another annoying noise "artist" (loosely coined, mind...

They create an entity which grows rich of the contrast of the numeric treatments and synthesis of Th-Th and Anton Mobin's analogical manipulations. Bartois (Bart Knol) always had a deep love for the Piano, since he first heard Eric Satie and Philip Glass when he was young. After many years of composing all kinds of music, the time had come to create his first solo piano-album. The goal of the album was creating a record which you can "trust". Something which can be played on quiet evenings or sunday mornings, knowing that it will be a comfortable ride until the last track has passed. ----- Contact:...

The new wave of interest to the Balkan music in world scales has been provoked by launch of the well-known Yugoslavian director of Emir Kusturica. Hasn't avoided its influences and Russia where among the other structures which have addressed to a musical heritage of the Balkans, the Moscow orchestra «Bubamara Brass Band» maestro Alexander Kashtanova is brightly allocated. This orchestra possesses tremendous positive power which, apparently, should be the integral attribute of the Balkan...

Bells was entirely made in real time (plus some editing) on my computer using my own software. Both of its tracks use a Tibetan temple cymbal as the main sound source. The first track, "Bells I" is a more formalistic exploration of the cymbal sound itself, without taking its "cultural context" into account. The second track "Look Into The Rising Sun", uses percussion and guitar samples along with the cymbals and has a more "eastern" or "exotic"...

"My latest album under my own name (C.A. Sinclair) is called Zetatene, and consists of edited/remixed improvised pieces I made using mostly my laptop running custom software I made with PD (Pure Data). Sound-wise, it goes into a bit of a glitch/noise direction and the sound is very "raw" most of the time with lots of harsh granular sampling and stuff. Structurally, I was particularly interested in the kind of "accidental rhythms" you get through looping or LFOs and in...

The album was recorded in single day has a live perfomance. The album has songs that are part of our live setlist and also improvised tracks that were done that very same day. Our definition of recording is very simple, what we play goes, if we liked how it sound it while we played it stays it makes the album, that simple. We got together the summer of 2008 to record our debut album, in somewhat a familiar style as this last one. Everything was improvised and back then we were playing with a...

"Entering The Ocean" is the first studio album of Ishizuke Children. Long majestic compositions remind the Buddhist temple ceremonies. It's deeper than the deepest ocean. Themes of tracks are ecology, nonviolence, intercorrection of all life in the universe, instant karma, search for the mysterious in everyday. Children Of Ishizuke Tree - the guitar duo from Minsk, Belarus, consists of Alexander Haletski and Marina Bartosh. Formed in 2009. Style of music - something between noise,...

"Chameleon Starship" is the second release of magick lo-fi duo from Belarus. In comparison with the first record, "Entering The Ocean" (2009), "Chameleon Starship" is a light, airy and accessible to understand. The sound of guitars organically supplemented by magical poetry of Marina Bartosh and has become more sophisticated and diverse.
